Moving? Check Out These Manufactured Home Friendly California Communities

Over the past year there have been a lot of stories about Californians ready to pack up and move. But you don’t have to leave the state to enjoy a more comfortable, stress-free lifestyle.

Ma Williams has worked with hundreds of customers eager to escape the traffic, congestion and other drawbacks of life in big cities like Los Angeles. Some are seniors reaching retirement age; others are young couples ready to start a family, and hoping to do so in a safer and quieter community.

Where are they headed? To any of the dozens of smaller towns and rural areas where the cost of living is lower, the pace of life is slower, and quality manufactured homes are welcomed into the community. Most are still within easy driving access to Los Angeles and San Diego, while offering an escape from their drawbacks.

Those who enjoy boating, fishing and water skiing might head to Wildomar, with its close proximity to Lake Elsinore, or Perris, where the Lake Perris State Recreation Area welcomes campers, boaters, fishermen and hikers.

Menifee is a vibrant town in southwest Riverside County that has been recognized as one of Southern California’s top 10 cities for growth. For many years all that was here was a large Sun City retirement community. Today it has become a prime destination for young families looking for a clean and quiet place to live.

Riverside provides stunning vistas of the beautiful Box Springs Mountain, Jurupa Hill and Lake Mathews, as well as the University of California, Riverside, with its outstanding science and engineering schools. For those who enjoy riding there’s the western community of Jurupa Valley, where you’re likely to see folks on horseback alongside the bikers and joggers.

Are you ready for true small town living? As of the 2010 census, Aguanga, CA was home to a population of just over 1,000 people. That works out to approximately 80 folks per square mile. If you prefer to still have some “city” feel to your community, Murrieta is the second safest city in California with a population of more than 100,000, and is just 45 minutes from Disneyland, San Diego or the beach.

Love golf? There are championship course in Temecula. Prefer the forest? The California Department of Parks and Recreation preserves more than 12,000 acres of tall pines and cedars in and around the town of Idyllwild. Whatever your needs or preferences, there is a community somewhere in southern California that will prove a perfect fit. And Ma Williams probably already has a few homes there. Stop by and talk to us about your big city escape plans, and let us help you begin the next chapter of your life.
