Skyline Homes Recognized by Consumers as America’s Most Trusted 2021 Manufactured Home Builder

So we were not surprised when a 2021 survey by Lifestory Research selected Skyline as the most trusted builder among consumers actively shopping for a new factory built home.
The America’s Most Trusted study, conducted over a period of 12 months, collected opinions from more than 24,000 people in 35 of the largest housing markets in the United States, including California.
Skyline’s history in factory-built homes is rich in tradition. Based in Elkhart, Indiana, the company has earned their reputation as an uncompromising manufacturer, through local communities, suppliers and retailers.

Green building is another priority. As an Energy Star® partner, Skyline homes may allow homeowners to save as much as 30% off their monthly energy bills. This is achieved by using top-grade insulation, high-performance windows and doors, and low-escape air ducts. Additional upgrades are available to meet more rigorous EPA energy standards of a Qualified Energy Star home, from additional insulation to high-efficient furnaces.
Another encouraging result of the Lifestory Research survey was an increased recognition of the industry-wide quality of today’s manufactured homes, not just from Skyline but other top-tier builders like Silvercrest.
“In a year in which COVID-19 created uncertainty, trust in manufactured builders leapt forward for people shopping factory built homes,” said Lifestory Research President and Chief Research Officer Eric Snider. “Within this housing sector, we saw a 37% increase in brand trust of the national manufactured housing brands, signaling a significant change in how home shoppers see this housing sector.”
