By now you’ve seen those holiday-themed television commercials in which a wife or husband surprises their spouse with a new car for Christmas.
That’s a nice idea, but we’ll go one better – how about a new house instead? It’s certainly one way to enjoy a gift everyone will love, without having to fight the crowds in the malls.
December is not a traditional house-hunting month because of all the other holiday distractions. But here are three reasons why now is a great time to look at manufactured homes.
1. Holiday vacations
If you have a few days off from work, it’s a perfect opportunity to explore different cities and communities, and find the one that seems most desirable. Purchasing a manufactured home in December will inspire a variety of resolutions for next year. While your home is being created, transported, and prepared for move-in, you can start planning now for how you want to decorate, what features and upgrades you’ll wish to add, and how the move will impact your work commute, school district, and other aspects of daily life. Yes, it’s a lot to consider – but it’s also one of the most fun parts of moving.
